The OpenLog is an open-source data logger that functions via a simple serial connection, supporting microSD cards up to 64GB. It can store vast amounts of serial data, acting as a 'black box' for project-generated data, useful for scientific or debugging purposes. Powered by an onboard ATmega328 running at 16MHz, it draws 6mA during recording but averages around 5mA. Constant data streaming at 115200bps may approach the 6mA limit. Data is stored on microSD cards (64MB to 64GB, FAT16/32) with the latest firmware (included) requiring Arduino 1.6.5 for compilation.

  • Power Input: 3.3V-12V (Ideal 3.3V-5V)
  • Log to Affordable microSD FAT16/32 Cards Up to 64GB
  • User-Friendly Command Interface
  • Adjustable Baud Rates (Up to 115200bps)
  • Preinstalled ATmega328 and Bootloader
