The precision threading die must screw into the cut thread of a work piece by hand, without excessive force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (defective). All parts and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Insertion Test: The Gutlehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without excessive force
- Insertion Failure Indicator: If the Gutlehrdorn cannot be inserted, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and gauges are calibrated at 20°C
- On-Demand Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request (price available upon inquiry)
- Independent Lab Calibration: Calibration is performed in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, following established standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the specific part
- Calibration Method: The calibration is conducted using IAC-Gewindescanner
